After seeing Brian on my website, Shark Biscuit Productions gave me a call and within 48 hours I was working there!
I am currently creating motion graphics for promotional videos and websites and have also created a storyboard for an advert pitched to ITV Wales.
I knew that going freelance meant that I'd have to include motion graphics in my show reel to get the range of work needed to support myself. However I've landed this job because the strength of my 3D animation reel got my employer interested enough to call me and ask me whether I could handle motion graphics.

Roze and the Robots
Gravy Media have just updated their website. Check out my image of Roze gravymedia.com
The guys are currently in Lyon pitching the film. I had to create a 3D version of Roze so they could show all the possibilities for the film's style.
It's so rewarding taking an awesome 2D character design into 3D. I like to design characters myself but she's on another level.
This all happened in 2 week nights and half of a Sunday. Pretty harsh deadline but they had a plane to catch! :)

2D and 3D a-go-go
I just finished working on a trailer for the animated film 'Roze and the Robots'. I had to do some 2D Flash lip sync to a character voiced by Neil Gaiman and then I had to make, animate and render a CG robotic hand that is voiced by Stephen Fry!
I genuinely couldn't believe they had these guys doing the voices until I was sent the animatic. So excited!
The cool thing was they trusted my ability to 2D animate the lip-sync based on my 3D animated lip-sync in my show reel. I learnt lip-sync in 2D back in the day but haven't really touched it since going 3D. It all comes flooding back though ;)
Fingers crossed the film gets to production.

My top tip.
When you've gone to all the trouble of designing and printing business cards make sure you carry them with you at all times! I've already had numerous occasions where I needed them, d'oh!
